20 pilots and a large turn out for Roseburg’s first organized drone race

ROSEBURG, Ore. — The first organized drone race in Roseburg left pilots wanting more. Twenty pilots and a big audience gathered at Elk Island last weekend to race drones. Trophies were given to the winners of freestyle, fastest lap, and race competitions. “First-person view” goggles allowed the pilots to see what the drone sees.
